Course Description:
Suturing techniques need to be learned and developed for surgical procedures of every dental practice. As Dentists we perform procedures such as extractions, site development and dental implant procedures that often require good suturing skills.
Complications such as premature suture loosing, flap opening and tearing, bent needles, and improper membrane stabilization can be avoided when a proper suturing technique is used. The goal of this practical step by step course is to train dentists in predictable suturing techniques. Participants will learn different suturing techniques needed in the dental practice, 10 different techniques will be demonstrated with different suture materials, this will enable participants to achieve stable knots and its indications. Participants will learn different suture techniques and experience a step by step systematic exercise they need to know to be more predictable using 10 of the most commonly used suturing techniques in dental practice.
