Description
The objective of this webinar presentation is to provide a systematic workflow for data capture in clinic to allow for the accurate and efficient production of a tissue supported surgical guide. The presentation will discuss patient scanning techniques, denture scanning techniques according to the “dual scan” technique. Assessing the patients current prosthodontic envelop to determine ideal tooth positions to allow correct implant planning relative to restorative material and transition line. Linking of the both the patient and denture dicom data. Conversion of the patient denture into a surgical guide. Strategic implant positions for ideal anterior posterior spread. Restorative bridge materials and adaqaute inter occlusal space for the chosen material.

Dr. David Veige
Originally from Toronto Ontario, Canada, David qualified firstly as a dental technician from George Brown College and then as a dentist from the University of Newcastle with a distinction in academic dentistry and the top restorative dentistry prize. He graduated with merit from the University of Warwick with a MSc. degree in Implant Dentistry. He is currently studying a MClinDent at King’s College, London in fixed and removable prosthodontics. David lectures both nationally and internationally on all aspects of guided implant surgery and advanced restorative dentistry. He is the director of Smile Designs Dental Laboratory, Harrogate and Smile Designs Implant Studio. His practice is limited to implant dentistry.
